This consultation has concluded.
Council is developing a Community Strategy and Program Plan to guide the provision of community services, resources and develop a strong cohesive community in the City. Community input is vital to how we plan for the short and long term future of community programs in the city.
We recently asked "how we can achieve our goals of a socially inclusive city, a well connected and engaged city, a city with strong neighbourhoods and a city with excellent integrated social infrastructure?"
We ran a quick poll about how a 'Mens Shed' could operate, an online survey so you could tell us what we should be doing more of, less of or differently and also opened online discussion forums about some of our suggested ideas.
We are now collating and analyzing your feedback, ideas and comments. A copy of the results will soon be available on this page (early February 2011).
